How to get involved?

You can get involved in a number of different ways. The Clubhouse team are always looking for new people to keep the enthusiasm and creativity flowing.

N.B. The most important thing about volunteering with the Clubhouse is you like people and not that you're a technical genius!

Mentoring Young People

A typical volunteer is asked to commit to 2 hours per week on a designated day for six months.

The Clubhouse opens between 2.30pm – 6.30pm (Mon, Tue, Wed & Thu). During these times any young member can drop-in to work on their projects with the help of staff and volunteer Mentors.

Graphic Design

A rare opportunity to make a difference and benefit with some real world industry experience. The Liberties Computer Clubhouse requires a Graphic Designer in Dublin. The role will involve working with a small team and stakeholders involving the re-development and delivery of both internal and external website.

The candidate can be a recent graduate or under-graduate looking to start or advance their career or someone wishing to gain valuable industry experience. This is a volunteer role requiring 2 hours per week on-site and additional time working at home.

Web Programmer - CSS, PHP, HTML, Drupal.

A rare opportunity to make a difference and benefit with some real world industry experience. The Liberties Computer Clubhouse requires a Graphic Web Programmer in Dublin. The role will involve the re-development and delivery of both internal and
external website.

The candidate can be a recent graduate or under-graduate looking to start or advance their career or someone wishing to gain valuable industry experience. However a portfolio of work, or list of URL's, will need to be submitted with your CV. This is a volunteer role requiring 2 hours per week on-site and additional time working at home.

Networking and/or IT Administrator

The Clubhouse has state-of-the-art software and hardware running on both PC and Mac platforms. Each machine is equipped with Adobe Creative Suite CS3 and Microsoft Office 2007/8. The server runs Windows 2003.
